Start in three easy steps

This guide walks you through unboxing, initializing, and securing your hardware device. Expect about 10 minutes.

  1. 1) Unbox & Inspect.
Confirm packaging is intact and the tamper-evidence sticker is in place. Only use official download links and never accept pre-initialized devices from unknown sellers.
  2. 2) Initialize Device.
Follow the on-device prompts to create a new wallet. Choose a strong PIN and write down the recovery phrase exactly as shown. Keep this phrase offline — it is the only backup to your funds.
  3. 3) Connect to Wallet App.
Install the desktop or mobile companion app, pair your device, and verify that your accounts display correctly. Send a small test transaction first to confirm everything is working.

Why use a hardware wallet?

A hardware wallet stores your private keys in a secure chip that never exposes the keys to your computer or phone. Even if your device is compromised, your keys remain offline. This gives you cryptographic control over your assets — you and only you can sign transactions.

Private keys stay offline
Never share your recovery phrase or paste it into websites.
Open standards
Works with many wallets and blockchains through standard interfaces.
Backup & recovery
Secure, reproducible recovery using a mnemonic phrase and optional passphrase.

Quick checklist

  • Buy devices from authorized sellers only.
  • Never disclose your recovery phrase to anyone.
  • Keep a physical backup of your recovery phrase in a safe place.
  • Use a separate device for daily interaction where possible.
